Cornwall Shaken by Earthquake, October 2016

A small earthquake that occurred in Liskeard, Cornwall, was felt in Newquay by a few people who happened to be awake at 3am!

Nothing to see here really – there was an earthquake, it was miles away, it was small.

The earthquake measured 2.3 on the Richter scale, so it was a little stronger than the 2.2 earthquake in Bodmin in 2011: Bodmin earthquake
