OK, the official term these days is School Cross Patrol, but we know what we call it. There’s a vacancy for a casual lollipop person in Newquay, providing cover for the absence of regular patrols, due to sickness etc.
Pay: £6.50 – £7.07 per hour

A reliable, punctual and conscientious person is required to ensure the safety of pedestrians whilst crossing the road. Good interpersonal skills are needed with the ability to work unsupervised. You need to be generally fit and physically mobile with good eyesight and hearing, with access to a telephone.
It would be an advantage if you have experience with working with the general public and experience of supervising children and ability to provide transport to other sites, some of which may not be serviced by public transport.
