Newquay animal rescue centre is called The Venton Animal Centre and is based a few miles out of Newquay, close to St Columb Major.
The site is over six acres and was bought in 1994. The animal rescue centre rescues cats, dogs rabbits, small birds and animals.

Newquay Harbour has a webcam sited at the premises of Newquay Rowing Club, it's a live video with high resolution images and looks directly into Newquay Harbour and the lifeboat launching area.

Founded in 1955, St Francis Dogs' Home offers dogs for adoption, emergency rehoming facilities to the emergency services as well as boarding facilities and doggy daycare to locals and holidaymakers.
St Francis Dogs Home is a registered charity based just outside Porth, Newquay, on the road to Trevelgue Campsite.

The webcam at Watergate Bay is at the Watergate Hotel complex and looks directly out to sea. If there are any events on the beach they are in the view, so it's a good gauge of what's going on and if it's popular/busy.
