The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
Porth Valley View Run, May 2016, Porth, Newquay
The new Porth Valley View Run, organised by Newquay Valley View Resort at Porth, is a challenging multi-terrain 5 or 10 kilometer running course, taking you round Porth Valley and the surrounding area. Created to challenge skill and endurance, yet showing you how fun fitness can really be!

100% of the proceeds go directly towards keeping the Cornwall Air Ambulance helicopter flying as all the plants have been donated by local garden centres and businesses.Â
Newquay Funfair May 2016, Newquay
The funfair is in Newquay at the Circus field.  Daily from 2pm until Sunday 5 June 2016.  
Free entry – just pay for rides – all rides £1.50.
