The Newquay Events Diary below is an eclectic mix of events in Newquay that might appeal to you whether you’re a resident or a holidaymaker, or visiting your second home. 
As with all things, it’s biased – biased towards events I know are occurring, events I see posted round town – and events that are well-known. But then I need to remember to add them once I’ve found them. If I see a poster strapped to a lamp-post there’s a chance I will remember, but I don’t always 🙂
If I think an event is exceedingly dull, or I just take a personal dislike to it, it won’t be included 🙂
We’re not biased here, but sometimes things have to be dropped. The aim is to have a bit of a mix though, across all dates… but this isn’t always possible.
International Festival of Surf 2015, Newquay, Newquay
For three days the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay will be showing films as part of the International Festival of Surf 2015. The final line up will be published close to the start date.
Films to be shown will be real surfer favourites, some big screen premiers and special edits.

Trenance Cottages Open Weekend, Newquay
Close to the end of extensive renovations, Trenance Cottages are holding a special Open Weekend on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2015. During this weekend the Heritage Rooms will be open so the public can visit.
This is not the full reopening of Trenance Cottages, but an open weekend with an exhibition to commemorate the 89th anniversary of the 100th birthday of a previous resident, Mrs Elizabeth Ould.
Little Fistral and Fistral Beach Clean 2015, Newquay
On Saturday 21 March 2015, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) and Newquay Surf Life Saving Club are holding a Beach Clean event at Fistral Beach and Little Fistral, Newquay, as part of their Big Spring Beach Clean event being held countrywide. 
Whether you’re passionate about keeping beaches clean, or simply want to find a good excuse to get out early on a Saturday morning to enjoy a sea breeze on a sandy beach then this is an event for your diary!
