Long Business Description Newquay Golf Club was started in 1890 and is based on Tower Road, Newquay in the white building that looks like mini castle, the tower dates back to 1835.
The Club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2015. This is a golf club with sea views - as well as having a bar area and restaurant.

Long Business Description The Harbour Hotel is perched on the cliffside overlooking Newquay Bay and has a webcam on the balcony. From here you can see the Harbour, the boats entering and leaving the harbour entrance and the sweep of the bay as far as Porth.
This is a good webcam for watching Newquay sunrises and early morning harbour activity, as well as watching any RNLI launches, gig practice or racing or just to see how far in or out the tide is.
Due to the direction of the webcam and the location of the Harbour Hotel on the east-facing cliff, it does tend to get quite dark in early evening. You'd never see a sunset from this webcam.

1-2 hour group rides, horse riding lessons and general rides. Pony trekking, 1 hour beach treks, hack rides (must be experienced) 2 hour rides. Pub rides for experienced riders.
Prices:
One hour trek £25 - a ride for beginners or nervous riders; walking only
One hour hack £25 - for intermediate riders. Riders must be able to do rising trot and be in control of the horse
Two hours long ride £50 - for advanced riders only. Rider must be able to canter and be in full control of the horse

Long Business Description The Newquay Ladies' Lifeboat Guild organise fundraising events for the RNLI. Based at the Lifeboat Station building at Newquay Harbour.
If you want to help to join the Guild and help to raise funds for the RNLI, or to donate goods, pop in to the Lifeboat Station next time you're passing and make enquiries.
The Guild has been continuously operating since 1966, although it did operate prior to this date with some gaps.
Long Business Description Newquay model boat club operates at Trenance Boating Lake. Members with boats of any size are welcome, although noisy/oily boats are discouraged. Typically members have 1m boats.
One-Metre sailing/racing takes place on Sunday mornings at 10am and often on Tuesday mornings. To join the club phone or email, or just turn up at the lake and chat to members with boats. There is an Annual Regatta too, often in July as part of Newquay Carnival Week.
